As part of our intent to make the Broadway Dallas HSMTA a celebration of the incredible work happening in programs across the region, please provide a statement highlighting the unique aspects that make your program special. Describe what is outstanding and unique about your department in 250 words or less. This will mean something different for every school and we’ll ask the judges to consider this statement as part of their score for the overall production.

Please note, this shall not have a direct impact on your scoring. It's sole purpose resides in affording both educators and students with the opportunity to provide adjudicators with all pertinent information concerning their school, presentation, and performance.

Individual Nominee Information

Students placed up for consideration in the Outstanding Lead Performer categories must abide by the Jimmy Awards’ “Qualifying Roles” list. Students on the Lead Performer list do NOT qualify for Supporting roles and may NOT be nominated in the Supporting Actor category. Supporting Performers may NOT be characters that qualify in the Outstanding Lead performer per the Jimmy Awards guidelines (see above link).

Supporting Performers must be a named character and have at least ONE of the following:

1. A vocal solo longer than ~30 seconds.

2. A dance solo that significantly distinguishes them from an ensemble character

3. A monologue
